Psychotherapist & Counsellor
Why therapy?
People see me for many reasons.
Sometimes it’s to tackle a specific problem, to break old habits, or to become less overwhelmed in the face of challenge, uncertainty or change.
Often, anxiety is the starting point for counselling, be it worries around relationships, work, low self-esteem, identity issues, or a sense of not feeling at home in the world.
For others, feelings of numbness and depression are the instigator for seeking help. Therapy provides a chance to explore how it might be to feel differently.
At times therapy is hard as it can mean getting in touch with buried sadness, anger or shame, but I will be alongside you to support and encourage you.
Therapy is confidential and non-judgemental. It’s a safe space to better understand recurring patterns of behaviours, choices and feelings, and a place to be seen, heard and understood.
